Goals of hand rehabilitation

The most important objective of hand therapy is achieving the best possible hand function to allow a timely and unlimited return to ones daily activities. The independence in work, pleasure and daily living tasks is at the centre of all occupational therapy interventions. The role of the hand therapist is to detect deficits, define goals and put together a therapy plan to reach those objectives.
